Join us as we travel to the Valero, Tesco, H.E.B. and other local gems of convenience retailing. Don't forget to tour the Alamo and experience the Riverwalk, but you won't want to miss what retailing Texas-style is all about.

Keynote Speaker // 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Steve Wozniak, co-founder of apple computers | 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Steve Wozniak is one of those guys, who's had such an impact on the world. It almost makes you feel bad about yourself. On April fools day 1976, he and another total unknown - Steve Jobs - founded a company called Apple. If you've seen "Pirates of the Silicon Valley", you know the story.

No billionaire backers, no team of developers. No production plant in Silicon Valley. Just pure brains and guts. Wozniak sold his HP scientific calculator. Jobs sold his VW van. Together, they used the money to build the first Apple computer prototype in Job's garage. Wozniak spent the next nine years building Apple. The company went public in 1980 and Wozniak became a millionaire.

Five years later, he ended his full time employment there. Apple went on to develop its iconic computers into the industry standard. And there's that whole iPod thing that's changed how people consume music.

Since leaving Apple, Wozniak taught grade 5. And is a big time philanthropist. Now, he's got a book out. Its called "iWoz - How I invented the Personal Computer, co-founded Apple and had fun doing it."
